Family wealth goes beyond quantitative wealth.
In family enterprises, wealth is partitioned into six capitals. Human capital dictates individual flourishing and health. Legacy capital dictates the family's core values and branding. Interpersonal capital dictates the family's connection to one another. Governance capital dictates the family's efficacy. Social capital dictates the external good--philanthropy. Perhaps the most important, however, is quantitative capital. In the extreme, it is a core pillar on which all other capitals, minus interpersonal, stand upon.
